Kids Yoga – Lower & Middle Schools
Kids Yoga with Mary every Friday in the Studio

Lower school – 4:15 – 5:00pm
Middle school 5:15 – 6:00 pm
Lower school age
Come and learn about how some of our yoga poses make you feel, which parts of our body have to work to do them, and how we can rearrange ourselves to do the same pose in different ways.
Kids yoga is a great opportunity for children to express themselves physically, so besides the benefit of developing strength and flexibility, it encourages them to think about all aspects of their well-being and can encourage them to be creative and use their own ideas in class.
In class, there will be a mix of games, breathing exercises, yoga fun, and relaxation.
When we under the Rocci Tree our imaginations can take us anywhere!
Middle school age (tweens)
With a mixture of movement, breath work, and mindfulness, we will encourage everyone to slow down and take some time to be quiet in this class, there will also be time for some games and fun too!
Yoga is a great way to introduce the concept of mindfulness and relaxation through simple breathing exercises and meditation; skills which are really important to be able to access in our current situation.
In our class, we will be taking the opportunity to learn about some of the ancient myths and messages behind our yoga poses which will help the kids to see the whys as well as the hows.
Classes can be booked as:
- Drop-in (pay as you go) – £5.00 per class
- Pre-bookable, with 1, 5, or 10 class pass (more flexibility if you cannot commit to consecutive weeks)
- Enroll for the half term – 6-week term or 7-week term
