About the Course
A supportive course for young people aged 12–17 who may be dealing with stress,
anxiety or difficult things going on in their lives.
The sessions are designed for young people who:
Feel overwhelmed or under pressure
Are struggling with school, friendships or family changes
Need a safe and positive way to release stress
Find it hard to talk about how they are feeling
May be supported by CAMHS, TACTIC or other services
Sessions include gentle yoga, breathing and relaxation to help young people feel calmer, more confident and better able to cope.
Eligibility: Young people aged between 12-17.
Your Instructor
Julie Pearson
Julie has been teaching for ten years in local schools and nurseries, as well as parent and child classes for babies and toddlers. 'The benefits (of Yoga) were apparent immediately having a profound effect on relieving her anxiety, wishing she’d had the opportunity to discover this during her teen years, or perhaps even younger.'
