Our Intro to Yoga course is the perfect way to get into yoga. Held over four weeks, you will get to meet some of our teachers, learn a bit about their style of teaching and the basics of our practices, so you by the end of the course you will feel confident to attend any of our regular weekly classes.
You will start your journey with Elisa, who will lead you in a style of yoga called Iyengar. This style is well known for its precision to detail and is an ideal place to start. The poses are taken at a gentle pace but are held so we can really notice where every part of our body is and where it may get to one day. There will be plenty of options so you can take it to a level that suits you.
Natalie will lead you in week 2 . This class will be a beautiful mix of pranayama (yogic breathing), philosophy and mantra. You will be shown a blend of breath and movement which is soothing to the soul and stretches the body and mind.
Nikki will lead week 3 with her sense of fun and belief that anything is possible. She will take you into a style of yoga know at Vinyasa flow. The word ‘vinyasa’ can be translated as ‘arranging something in a special way’, such as your body in yoga poses. This dynamic practice synchronizes breath and movement to produce an internal heat designed to purify the body. You may need a small towel for this class as it can really warm you up!
On the final week you will get to meet Noelia who will ensure you are ready to attend our regular classes, helping you set your yoga mat and equipment up before you start. She will also guide you through a more mental journey, looking at the way yoga helps keep a healthy mind as well as body.
At the end of the course, you will receive two FREE single class passes to use at any of our regular weekly classes!

Well Women Monthly Classes
Well women yoga works in particular with our endocrine system – trying to balance our hormones, it supports are adrenals, where our fight, flight or freeze response come from. It strengthens our body by using weight bearing postures to help our bodies retain the calcium in our bones.
Our aim is to create a space to be, rather than do. The classes are gentle to strong offering lots of variations, so you can work at your own level. Each of our bodies are made differently and have lived different lives. We work with our intuitive kosha to go to a level that suits us on that day.
Well women yoga also works on our pelvic health. Bad postural habits and changes in oestrogen levels can affect how strong our pelvic floor muscles are and we don’t rely on just Kegels.
