BEGINNERS TAI CHI COURSE
Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that is nowadays practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of gentle movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by breathing that create harmony between the mind and body.
Tai chi helps reduce stress and anxiety. And it also helps increase flexibility and balance. Each Session will comprise:
- Master Huang Loosening Exercises for opening energy lines.
- Standing Meditation to cultivate internal energy.
- Completing the first section of the Master Huang 37 Taiji short form.
- Closing meditation.
To complement the training there will be an introduction into Yin Yang theory and its relationship to Taiji and continued referral to these principles throughout the course.
All levels welcome.
