PREGNANCY YOGA

Teaching pregnancy yoga is one of Rocci’s passions.

She has been teaching weekly drop-in classes as well as the extremely popular and well-respected Pregnancy yoga course for over 10 years here in Leighton Buzzard.

 

You can practise with Rocci either on a Wednesday at our drop-in class or a Thursday on our 8 week Pregnancy Yoga course. The course is more in-depth with a chance to create friendships with the other ladies on the course over tea and cake at the end of the session. The drop-in classes are a great way to begin or keep up your practise. Either way pregnancy yoga is a great way to relax and spend time with your unborn baby.

 

Rocci was pregnant for a lot of her teacher training course so knows how well yoga works with pregnancy and birth.

In both the course and the drop-in sessions Rocci will show you breathing techniques, and help you practise poses to help easy aches and pains, get baby into a optimal birthing position and connect with your changing body.

Pregnancy Yoga can have all sorts of benefits and our gentle yoga sessions can help you get your body ready for birth.

 

Our classes are suitable for anyone at least 14 weeks into their pregnancy and will be a comforting, relaxing, and possibly educational addition to your amazing pregnancy journey.

Medical experts at the Mayo Clinic have even touted prenatal yoga as “a multifaceted approach to exercise that encourages stretching, mental centering, and focused breathing.”
