Tai CHI COURSE with Ian

Next 4-week course:

  • 5th March 2025 - 26th March 2025

Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that is nowadays practised as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of gentle movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by breathing that create harmony between the mind and body.

Tai chi helps reduce stress and anxiety. And it also helps increase flexibility and balance.

​

Each Session will comprise:

- Master Huang Loosening Exercises for opening energy lines.
- Standing Meditation to cultivate internal energy.
- Completing the first section of the Master Huang Taiji form.
- Closing meditation.

​

To complement the training there will be an introduction into Yin Yang theory and its relationship to Taiji and continued referral to these principles throughout the course.

All levels welcome.


Wednesdays
6:30pm - 7:30pm
Downstairs Studio at the Forster Institute.
